About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and AWS. The role focuses on complex, code-intensive vulnerability remediation across enterprise Java applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Remediate SVA/SAST and DVA/DAST findings requiring code-level changes.
- Fix security issues including injection risks, authentication/authorization issues, and insecure coding patterns.
- Automate dependency upgrades and remediation of SCA findings.
- Address container image vulnerabilities and CloudFormation issues identified through Wiz IaC scans.
- Build regression-testing frameworks to validate remediation fixes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated security remediation workflows.
- Collaborate with automation, security, and DevOps teams.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Strong SQL and AWS knowledge.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation and containers.
- Experience with SAST/SVA, DAST/DVA, SCA, and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong CI/CD and automated testing experience.
- Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience with secure coding and application vulnerability remediation.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar.
