About the Role
We are hiring an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to lead SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementation, warehouse assessment, and automation initiatives for enterprise warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP EWM, warehouse process optimization, SAP Material Flow System (MFS), and integration with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
This role requires a highly skilled consultant who can work closely with business stakeholders, warehouse operations teams, automation vendors, and offshore technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and automated warehouse management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
SAP EWM Implementation & Configuration
• Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and production support projects
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into SAP EWM functional solutions
• Configure and support SAP EWM processes including Inbound, Outbound, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Cross-Docking, Physical Inventory, Replenishment, Slotting & Rearrangement, Internal Warehouse Movements, and Wave Management
• Configure warehouse organizational structures including Warehouse Numbers, Storage Types, Storage Sections, Storage Bins, Activity Areas, Work Centers, and Warehouse Process Types
• Configure RF Framework, Mobile Data Entry, Warehouse Monitor, Handling Units (HU), Storage Control, Batch Management, and Serial Number Management
Warehouse Automation & Integration
• Design, implement, and support SAP EWM integration with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and warehouse automation technologies
• Configure and support SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS) for communication with automated warehouse equipment
• Collaborate with automation vendors and technical teams to integrate conveyors, cranes, shuttles, sorters, AGVs, and other warehouse automation systems with SAP EWM
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize interfaces between SAP EWM and warehouse automation systems to ensure seamless material flow and operational efficiency
• Integrate SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM, and third-party enterprise applications
Project Delivery & Support
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers to deliver custom developments and enhancements
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Provide production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements
• Develop user documentation, deliver end-user training, and support knowledge transfer activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Warehouse Assessment & Client Collaboration
• Visit client warehouse locations in Jeddah, Dammam, and Riyadh to assess warehouse operations and business processes
• Conduct comprehensive warehouse studies to identify optimization opportunities and automation readiness
• Prepare and submit detailed warehouse assessment reports for the offshore project team
• Collaborate daily with offshore consultants and provide recommendations, technical inputs, and process improvement suggestions throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills
• 8+ years of SAP EWM consulting experience with end-to-end implementation and support expertise
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment, slotting, wave management, and warehouse monitoring
• Hands-on experience configuring warehouse organizational structures and RF Framework within SAP EWM
• Experience implementing SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS) and integrating warehouse automation equipment
• Strong knowledge of ASRS, conveyors, cranes, shuttles, sorters, AGVs, and automated warehouse technologies
• Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM, and third-party systems
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working closely with ABAP development teams
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and logistics execution
• Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience delivering SAP EWM implementations within manufacturing, logistics, retail, or distribution environments
• Experience working with warehouse automation vendors and enterprise warehouse modernization projects
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA EWM and cloud-based warehouse management solutions will be an advantage
• Willingness to travel to Jeddah, Dammam, and Riyadh for warehouse assessments and client engagements
• Candidates available to join immediately or on short notice will be preferred
