About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Plant Maintenance Consultant to support enterprise maintenance operations and SAP-driven business transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), a solid understanding of maintenance processes, and the ability to deliver effective solutions in a collaborative hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP PM solutions
• Configure and maintain key SAP PM components such as equipment, functional locations, maintenance notifications, maintenance orders, task lists, and preventive maintenance plans
• Support integration of SAP PM with other SAP modules such as MM, QM, and PP as required
• Work closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to improve plant maintenance processes and system efficiency
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving SAP PM-related functional issues
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and end-user documentation
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
• Provide post-go-live support and help optimize maintenance planning and execution processes
• Ensure solutions align with business goals, operational requirements, and project timelines
Required Skills
• 9+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
• Proven experience in SAP PM implementation, support, and enhancement projects
• Strong understanding of maintenance business processes, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and asset management
• Experience in SAP PM integration with related SAP modules
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in enterprise manufacturing, utilities, or industrial environments
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid engagement model and manage short-term project deliverables
• Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred
• Prior experience in Middle East / GCC projects will be an advantage
