About the Role
We are hiring an experienced JAVA Consultant to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, backend technologies, API integration, application architecture, and enterprise software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications
• Develop scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with external systems
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards
• Work with databases and optimize application queries and performance
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support
• Collaborate with functional, technical, QA, and project teams
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
Required Skills
• 6+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented programming
• Experience in Java-based enterprise application development
• Strong experience with REST APIs and system integrations
• Good understanding of databases and SQL
• Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Git and modern development tools
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications
