About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Sr. SAP ABAP Specialist to support enterprise SAP S/4HANA implementation and enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in S/4HANA ABAP development, RESTful ABAP programming, SAP Workflow, and end-to-end technical delivery. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance SAP solutions while working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions across implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and production support projects
• Develop and maintain RESTful ABAP applications, RICEF objects, and custom developments aligned with business requirements
• Design and develop OData Services, CDS Views, AMDP, and Adobe Forms for SAP S/4HANA on-premise environments
• Develop, configure, and maintain SAP Workflow solutions to support complex business processes
• Support SAP Fiori backend integration, service enablement, debugging, and performance optimization
• Develop enhancements using BADIs, BTEs, User Exits, BAPIs, IDocs, and interfaces with external systems
• Perform performance tuning, code optimization, and technical troubleshooting to ensure system stability and efficiency
• Manage transports, version control, and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities while ensuring compliance with quality and audit standards
Required Skills
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, including extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong expertise in RESTful ABAP Programming Model, RICEF development, and end-to-end technical delivery
• Hands-on experience with OData Services, CDS Views, AMDP, Adobe Forms, and SAP Workflow development
• Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori backend integration and service enablement
• Experience with enhancements including BADIs, BTEs, User Exits, BAPIs, IDocs, and external system integrations
• Proven expertise in performance tuning, debugging, transport management, and SAP development standards
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, and production support projects
• Strong understanding of SAP security, quality assurance, and audit compliance practices
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced onsite consulting environment
• Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred
• Experience working with clients in the Middle East/GCC region is an added advantage
