About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Senior SAP Authorization & GRC Consultant to lead SAP Security, Authorization, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) initiatives for enterprise SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP role design, GRC Access Control, and S/4HANA security transformation while ensuring secure, compliant, and audit-ready SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations across multiple SAP modules
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) aligned with business and security requirements
• Perform role redesign and simplification during SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation projects
• Manage user provisioning, access requests, and role assignments using SAP security best practices
• Implement and support SAP GRC Access Control modules including Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Access Request Management (ARM), and Emergency Access Management (EAM/Firefighter)
• Define, monitor, and manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) rules, conflicts, and mitigation controls
• Configure SAP Fiori security including catalogs, groups, business roles, and authorization concepts
• Support internal and external audits including ITGC, SOX, and compliance audits by preparing audit reports and remediation plans
• Collaborate with functional, Basis, and technical teams to ensure secure system integration and compliance across SAP landscapes
• Provide L3 production support, troubleshoot authorization issues, and drive continuous improvements in SAP security and GRC processes
Required Skills
• 8+ years of SAP Security and Authorization experience with strong expertise in SAP GRC Access Control
• Hands-on experience in SAP role design, authorization concepts, and access governance
• Strong knowledge of SAP GRC modules including ARA, ARM, and EAM (Firefighter)
• Experience in Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, monitoring, and risk mitigation
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations or migration projects
• Strong understanding of SAP Fiori security architecture and authorization concepts
• Experience supporting audit and compliance requirements including SOX and ITGC
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG) or Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Experience working across ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and SAP SuccessFactors landscapes
• Knowledge of enterprise risk and compliance frameworks
• Experience in manufacturing or large enterprise environments
• Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred
